The Sugar Box opened its doors to Cirencester in December 2000, offering a cake making/decorating service and a sugar craft centre. The sugar craft centre offers all types of products to help you make and decorate your own cake. These products range from decorating tools, cake boards, cake boxes, icing, marziapan to colours, candles and ready made figures. Cake tins and cake stands in all shapes and sizes can be hired from the shop.

The Sugar Box puts over 35 years experience into making and decorating bespoke birthday, celebration and wedding cakes.

The Sugar Box moved to new premises in Ashcroft Road on 22nd of September 2008 from where it continued to operate until Saturday 16th July 2011 when it closed it premises on expiry of its lease. The venture continues and will shortly launch an on-line sales business for the continued supply of sugar craft equipment to customers. It will also be present at the Craft Market in Cirencester's Corn Hall each Thursday.
